Empowering Self-Love Affirmations

Today we want to talk about affirmations. But, these are not just any affirmations. Today we are discussing empowering self-love ones designed to lift your confidence and boost your self-esteem. Affirmations can be a very powerful tool when used frequently.  Use them during meditation as a personal mantra, throughout your day, or when you need a good vibe pick-me-up.

A great way to use positive affirmations is to use them in place of negative ones as you move through your day. So, if you feel yourself thinking something bad about yourself, replace that thought with something good. For example, if you are having a bad hair day and you think “My hair looks bad.” Make sure to remind yourself that your hair doesn’t define your beauty and say an affirmation like “I am beautiful”.

Affirmations are empowering and can build confidence. We believe when you love yourself anything is possible. There is power in loving who you are. So, let’s build self-esteem through self-love. Use one or all of these affirmations. Use the one that stands out the most all day today as a reminder of how badass you truly are.

Empowering Self-Love Affirmations

  1. I choose to stop apologizing for being me. Let’s be clear, you are perfect the way you are. You don’t need to be anyone you are not and you don’t need to be ashamed of yourself for the things you like, the way you look, or any other core personality trait (assuming it is not self-destructive or harmful). The only reason you need to change is to become a better version of yourself. Be proud of who you truly are. Authenticity is magnetic. When you are shamelessly you, people will be drawn to you wanting some of that magic, but most importantly you will be happy.
  2. I release negative self-talk. Stop being so mean to yourself. Talk to yourself the way you talk to people you love. Listen to the words that go on in your head. Are you constantly putting yourself down? End that today.
  3. I love the person I am becoming. We love this affirmation because it is the perfect affirmation for transitional times and periods of personal growth. It works great in general because we are constantly growing every day. BUT, it is such a nice reminder for times when you are struggling to make a big change. If you are working towards personal development- this is a favorite.
  4. I believe in myself and my abilities. Mindset is everything. Believe in yourself no matter what. When you have faith in what you are capable of doing you will excel. Limiting beliefs about yourself will only hold you back. When you know you have what it takes to conquer the day meeting your goals will become so much easier.
  5. I deserve all good things. No matter what you deserve to be happy, loved, abundant, and all things good. There are no conditions to your worth. You are allowed to be happy and you should permit yourself today to have the life you have always wanted.
  6. I am powerful. You are so strong. You have made it through all of your bad days. You are not here by accident. You are powerful beyond measure. Own this and don’t let anyone or thing hold you back today.
  7. I accept myself unconditionally.  Accepting yourself is important because it means that you accept the good and the bad. It is a great affirmation in that it is focused on the energy of letting go. When we accept ourselves we are not only loving the parts we like but forgiving ourselves for the bits that might not be perfect. You are fine. You are wonderful. Embrace every aspect of you, flaws and all.
  8. I acknowledge my own self-worth. Bam! Yes! Never let anyone define your worth. You are the only one who can decide that. The moment you let someone else dictate your value you are giving up a key part of your personal power. Set the standards for your life on your own and don’t accept anything less.
  9. I am radiant. Look in the mirror and tell yourself this affirmation. Tell yourself how beautiful you are, how radiant you look today.
  10. I am enough. We always like to mention this affirmation. Saying “I am enough” can be so healing. It is empowering and can lift your self-esteem. Relax, you are fine the way you are. This affirmation sums up everything. You are smart enough, pretty enough, strong enough, you are enough!
